Demon Gaze is a new upcoming Playstation Vita RPG set to be released by Kadokawa Games and Experience Inc. in January 2013. The companies have today unleashed their first preview trailer of the game, as well as a number of screenshots and artwork for the title.
The screenshots focus on a number of different aspects of the game from CG artwork and dialogue to in-game footage and menus.
The story focuses on a human by the name of Oz, who has lost his memory however has the unusual ability to capture demons through his demon eye thus giving him the role of Demon Gazer. The screenshots and artwork also list some of the other characters included in the game including the human paladin Jerona, the elf mage Serina, the ‘Migumyi‘ race healer Pepetto and the ‘Nei‘ race fighter Avi.
In addition, the artwork highlights two half-demon half-mechanical characters by the name of Mars and Comet who have a normal mode and what seems to be some form of rampage mode associated with them. Neither seem to appear on the main artwork above so it is uncertain as to how big a role they play in the game.
