While I am uncertain if the service will be limited to select areas given the service was not mentioned during the European Nintendo Direct conference a short while ago, Nintendo have announced a new way to find, watch and engage yourself in television, movies and sports. Through the new Nintendo TVii service, you will be able to take advantage of a number of services they have to offer which they hope will allow you to conveniently access services such as Netflix and Hulu Plus and your DVR all through your Wii U Gamepad.
You will be able to utilize the consoles Mii system when using the service, in order to tailor your experience to your interests.
