It has been a number of years since Kingdom Hearts have appeared on a Playstation home-video game console, the last few releases being dedicated to portable devices as well as mobile devices. Square Enix have today announced Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix for the Playstation 3.
While the game is not the release of Kingdom Hearts 3 you may have been waiting for, it includes the Final Mix version of the original Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories which were originally released on the Playstation 2 in 2002 and 2007 respectively. The game ports will be remastered in high definition and will feature trophy support. It is slated for release in 2013.
