Over the last couple of weeks I have been bringing to you character profiles for the characters in Nippon Ichi Software America’s upcoming English release of Mugen Souls – similar to what I did for the games Japanese release which was developed and published by Compile Heart. With the games release due next month, NIS America have released the profiles for the final two characters – Alys Levantine who is both a Demon Lord and a famous idol from the Fire World and Dees Vanguard, an all purpose humanoid weapon from the Metal World.

Alys Levantine
Class: Demon God Idol | “Hooray, me! Thank you for your undying support!”
This demon lord is a famous idol from the Fire World. Because she is clearly the type to beg for attention, she does her utmost to always be surrounded by adoring fans. Due to that unending torrent of praise, she has grown both mentally and physically deficient, and is somewhat of a crybaby. To stand out better, she wears fashionable outfits, but she does want to wear subdued, typical teenager outfits every once in a while. She is at an age where she is discovering who she truly is. Since her personality can be compared to Chou-Chou’s, she sees her as a rival. Chou-Chou on the other hand fails to see anything worth rivaling.
Dees Vanguard
Class: All-purpose Humanoid Weapon | “I’m the one asking questions here. Answer me.”
She is the hero of the Metal World. To save her imperiled world, Dees runs hither and thither – an invaluable heroes hero. Due to her world’s difficult situation, she tends to speak aggressively and angers easily. In truth, she is a good-hearted person who enjoys caring for others. She is deeply adored by the denizens of her world and is a popular role model among children. This is more of an aside… but of all the heroes and demons of all the worlds, she has the best sense of style and the most alluring figure.
