-

ATLUS USA have today launched the full trailer for their upcoming release of Persona 4 Arena on the Playstation 3 and XBox360. The trailer provides an overview of everything – from storyline animation and details to battle previews of characters such as Elizabeth and Labrys who have to date not been of focus in ATLUS USA’s promotions of the game.

The game takes place two months after the events of Persona 4, where the protagonist has moved back home, most of the characters are now in their third or second years at Yasogami High School and a mysterious arena entitled “P-1 Grand Prix” has appeared in the Midnight Channel assumingly with Teddie in tow. With Yu Narukami now back in Inaba, the Investigation Team decide to solve this mystery and take part in it. The game also drags in Mitsuru, Akihiko, Aigis and Elizabeth from Persona 3, and a game-exclusive character Labrys.

The game is due for release on the 7th August 2012 in North America by ATLUS USA. A further release is due for release in PAL regions in the near future by Zen United. Do note however that this game is the first title every for the Playstation 3 which will feature a region lock, and thus you will need to wait for a release in your own representative region.
