Today during the Sony Press Conference at the E3 expo, Ubisoft and Sony Computer Entertainment announced a partnership to provide gamers with exclusive content for Assassin’s Creed III on the Playstation 3 and Assassin’s Creed III Liberation on the Playstation Vita. This is on top of SCE providing specifically-priced bundles of each game for its systems.
This partnership provides PlayStation 3 gamers exclusive access to four downloadable single-player missions at the launch of Assassin’s Creed III. Along with these missions, gamers who purchase both Assassin’s Creed III for PlayStation 3 and Assassin’s Creed III Liberation will receive exclusive unlockable items for Liberation, including an in-game version of Connor’s tomahawk, an exclusive character skin, a multiplayer character and a complete upgrade of all ammunition pouches.
In addition to this, Asssassin’s Creed III will launch in console sets containing either a Playstation 3 or Wi-fi/3G version of the Playstation Vita, and the consoles respective game. Prices will depend on region and no specifics have been made available at this time.
