While we have nothing in the way of actual gameplay footage as of yet, fans of the GoW series will be glad to know that it is far from over yet with Sony Computer Entertainment announcing development of the game with a slated release date of 2013. In what they hope is the “most ambitious God of War adventure in the series so far”, GoW: Ascension takes us right back to where it all began – allowing us to discover the origins of Kratos as he takes his first steps on his legendary quest for freedom.
The game will be released exclusively for the Playstation 3
