(and yes, in Australia thanks to Namco Bandai Partners)
A short while ago in Japan, Square Enix released a Nintendo 3DS Final Fantasy game entitled Theatrhythm Final Fantasy but instead of being an RPG as almost every other game in the franchise is – this is a rhythm game where you wander fields and take part in battles run by music from (mostly) the numbered installments of the Final Fantasy franchise.
This has been released to celebrate the series 25th Anniversary with a collection of the greatest musical moments from the history of the series. The game brings with it more than 70 musical scores alongside new environments and movie scenes from the original games – AND bring with it characters from the games as well.
This game is set to be released in not only North American regions by Square Enix, but also Australia, New Zealand, Europe and other PAL territories later on this year.
BUT this does leave an actual question on my mind…. one or two of the tracks that I believe are included in the Japanese version of the game, were English dubbed when the game was released over here (The one that comes to mind is Suteki Da Ne from Final Fantasy X)… so will we be seeing the English, Japanese or both versions? Only time will tell….
