Announced in this weeks issue of Famitsu, ATLUS have decided that they will be releasing Persona 2: Eternal Punishment on the Playstation Vita this coming May within Japan – and I feel it is pretty safe to assume that ATLUS USA will be doing the same in North America somewhere down the line. It seems like Famitsu has not dilly-dallied with getting the information online, with a batch of 11 new screenshots for the game. All of them can be viewed below…
The Playstation Portable version of the game is similar to that of Innocent Sin, in which it retains many of the key aspects from the original while improving it to provide the “best” experience in this new release. Such improvements include improved loading times, event skipping, the ability to switch between Classic and Modern soundtracks, a brand new opening sequence and brand new scenarios from Tasashi Satomi who wrote the games original scenario.
