While North American company 7Sixty will be releasing the fighting game Phantom Breaker in North America in only few weeks, 5pb who was behind the development and distribution of the game in Japan still remain hard at work patching up the game with the latest version 1.02 release. Included in this release is not so much brand new content but instead more along the lines of improving that which needed to be prove. Specifically the following changes have been made:
- Game balance has been altered in order to ensure all characters can be played on somewhat equal footing.
- Adjustments made to how rank match points are calculated.
- When playing online, four player rooms can be created allowing the other players to watch the other members fight it out.
Unfortunately, while this game is being released in North America, it has been confirmed that the games online modes are not compatible thus someone from Japan can not play with someone from the US or vice versa.
