As with every month, we have yet another unveiling of brand new (and in my opinion slightly overpriced) DLC content for The Idolm@ster 2 on both their XBox360 version (DLC Set #12) and more recent Playstation 3 release (DLC Set #4). This brand new set of DLC content comes equipped with a considerably sized set of costumes, songs and other bits and pieces that might appeal to a fan of the game. The content includes a 1,500 yen “Change 2MY Colour” EXTEND outfit which as you can see in the screenshots below, can change colour (Something which I don’t recall any other costume allowing you to do in this game). Also on the list are 750 yen a piece FLORAL, LUXURY and STARRY outfits titled Valentine Plum, Tiger Dancing and Heart Cassiopeia, the second opening song of the games anime series “Change!!!!” for 1,800 yen and a bunch of themed accessories around space and magic for 300-450 yen, a new “Colourful Stars Charm” which changes the BURST effect and for those who are after a free accessory, they are providing Wool Boot Covers free of charge.
For those of you who have the Playstation 3 version of the game… the set of items isn’t over yet. You can also get Hatsune Miku’s second costume “Miku Append” for 1,600 yen and UFO in Space Stages for 800 yen. Those who purchase the complete catalogue of The Idolm@ster 2 Set #4/#12 with the exception of money and emails can get a bonus Ami and Mami leg decoration for free.
