While Remedy Entertainment is apparently saving the games proper announcement until Spike’s VGA Award Show, Major Nelson through his Twitter Feed has announced a small bit of information about the upcoming Alan Wake title. It is uncertain if the game will be Alan Wake II or another in between game as the original two DLC were, however the game will be released on XBox Live over a physical release, and will be a standalone game, meaning that you don’t need to own Alan Wake to play the game – but it will almost certainly help.
Alan Wake was initially released on the XBox360 and is possibly one of my favorite Western games on the market. It also won the title of my Game of the Year 2010.
