While you may consider its release a tad late, Bethesda Softworks today announced that a demo for their previously released FPS action-adventure game Rage has just been released on the XBox Live store for the XBox360. There will be one released for the Playstation 3 through the Playstation Network however that will not be available until the 6th December 2011.
The Ghost Clan, a cult of murderous fanatics, has infiltrated the waterworks beneath the town of Wellspring with plans to poison the water supply. You are the only one with the weapons, talent and courage to stop them. While in Wellspring, you can also meet the townsfolk, try your hand in games of skill and chance, peruse the wares of the local vendors or hit the Speedway for some racing.
For those in North America, it has also been hinted that RAGE will be available for a Black Friday special sale price of $29.99 at GameStop and other select retailers.
