Nippon Ichi Software Japan has recently unveiled the first trailer video of Disgaea 3 Return, a Playstation Vita title that after being nothing but a rumor over the last few weeks, was just unveiled as fact a day or so ago in Dengeki Playstation. You might dismiss the trailer at first as the first part contains nothing much except reused animated footage and some gameplay footage with text overlapped on it. However, there are a few things that I would have expected to remain a secret for longer but instead are present in this trailer. First of all, it seems as the Raspberyl Chapters will be included on the PS Vita version alongside 40 BGM tracks and all of the DLC characters – which is around $50 worth on the disc. However more importantly is the unveiling of the two new characters – A black haired (child-like in appearance) catgirl and what looks to be a blonde haired demon (Who is shown using a fire-based sword skill). They also show off the improved character portraits which similar to that of Disgaea 4 – have the characters breathing and changing expressions without the image switch of the PS3 release.
I am interested to see if NIS America will be releasing the game in English, but if so – I believe you could easily sign me up for a copy of the game!
