Would like to let all my readers know that Devil Survivor Overclocked, a sort of 3DS remake of the successful RPG Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor has just been formally announced by Atlus for English distribution. As quoted from the press release:
The original Devil Survivor presented gamers with a novel premise: Tokyo is in full lockdown, the government’s swift, coldblooded response to a surprise demon invasion. While you and your friends must solve the nature of the interdimensional rift through which the horrific creatures are entering your world, saving the world is not your highest priority; staying alive, on the other hand, is.
There are many features such as a special eighth day chapter and, at least in the Japanese version, fully voiced dialogue. However, currently Atlus has not given the full list of updates for their english release. So, as news comes to me, I shall share it with everyone. Whilst I am currently updating on this game, I will most probably not be purchasing it due to my non-interest in the 3DS and the region lock that is being placed on the console, and with no DS Devil Survivor available in Australia, it means that unless this is changed, I will not be able to use the game anyway.
