International stage production The Choir of Man will return to Australia this summer, beginning a new season at the Sydney Opera House from 11 December 2026. The production arrives in Sydney following tours across the United States and Europe, as well as a four year West End run.
Set inside an onstage pub, The Choir of Man brings together an ensemble of nine performers combining live instrumentation, vocal performances and storytelling. Its soundtrack spans classic rock, pop and pub anthems, featuring music associated with artists including Queen, Adele, Guns N’ Roses, Paul Simon, Avicii and Sia.
Mark Loveday will lead the cast as the Barman, joined by Ifan Gwilym Jones as Maestro, Cal T King as Beast, Conor Mellor as the Joker, George Knapper as Handyman, Paul McArthur as the Poet, Kristian Morse as the Hard Man, Tyler Orphe Baker as Bore and Tristan Whincup as the Romantic. Resident Director and Swing Norton James will also join the production, alongside Alex Mallalieu and Bradley Walwyn as Swings.
