Titanique is set to continue being a mainstay of Sydney’s The Grand Electric theatre, with the musical having its debut Australian season extended through to at least Sunday 1 June 2025. With tickets (or “tiquets”) priced between $75.00 and $160.00, depending on a number of factors, general public sales for performances 1 April through 1 June will go live at 10am, 13 February 2025 — with pre-sales through select opportunities now available. The production is led by Marney McQueen as Celine Dion, joined by Georgina Hopson as Rose Dewitt-Bukater and Drew Weston as Jack Dawson. Additional cast members include Keane Sheppard-Fletcher as Cal, Matt Lee as Victor Garber, Stephen Anderson as Ruth Dewitt-Bukater, Abigail Dixon as Molly Brown, and Abu as The Seaman/Iceberg.
Titanique aims to merge the music of Celine Dion with the iconic storyline of the feature film Titanic, transforming the classic film into a comedic musical experience that reimagines Jack and Rose’s journey with Dion’s memorable songs like My Heart Will Go On, All By Myself, and To Love You More.
Titanique was co-written by Marla Mindelle, Constantine Rousouli, and Tye Blue, with Mindelle and Rousouli originating the roles of Celine Dion and Jack Dawson in its off-Broadway premiere. The musical is being presented exclusively in Sydney by Michael Cassel Group.
