Live Nation and Jubilee Street Management have announced additional performances for 2025’s comedy festival seasons, bringing more acclaimed comedians from Australia and New Zealand to the stage. Tickets for the newly announced shows go on sale Friday, 6 December, at 10 am (local time), with pre-sale access available to My Live Nation members starting Thursday, 5 December, at 10 am (local time).
The expanded line-up features performances by Anisa Nandaula, Joel Creasey, Hayley Sproull, Paul Williams, Tom Cashman, Wilson Dixon, Paul Taylor, and Josh Berry. These acts join a roster of comedians including Nazeem Hussain, Melanie Bracewell, Ray O’Leary, Chris Parker, Guy Williams, Bron Lewis, Cameron James, Becky Lucas, and recently announced tours for Urzila Carlson and Guy Montgomery.
The new additions to the 2025 comedy festival season will see Anisa Nandaula explore life as a black woman in Australia in You Can’t Say That, blending humour with personal reflections on her connections to Uganda and the people she loves. Joel Creasey, known for his role as co-host of Australia’s popular drive show Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel, returns with his 15th solo show, Thanks For Being Here, offering a full hour of his sharp wit and trademark sass. Hayley Sproull, winner of Taskmaster NZ and a Best Show nominee at the 2024 NZ Comedy Festival, will perform Wild Flutters, a passionate and captivating show guaranteed to stir audiences.
New Zealand comedian Paul Williams brings his affable charm to the stage with Don’t Look At Me. Tom Cashman, another favourite, presents 2 Truths, 1 Lie & 17 Slight Exaggerations, a show blending stand-up comedy with unexpected insights, and perhaps even the secret to happiness. Adding a musical twist, Wilson Dixon, the legendary country singer from Cripple Creek, debuts Love Don’t Live Here Anymore, You Do, featuring humorous songs about family life.
Paul Taylor, after completing three sell-out bilingual world tours, returns with F** Me I’m French*, sharing his experience of being a British expat in France in a show performed entirely in English. Josh Berry rounds out the line-up with Best Man, an insightful and comedic look at modern masculinity, inspired by his recent role as best man at his best friend’s wedding.
