Following its more-than-half-year stint in Sydney’s Theatre Royal, the producers behind the Australian tour of TINA – The Tina Turner Musical has confirmed they will be vacating the venue in January 2024, leading to the national tour. Tickets for the final performances in Sydney are now available for purchase. Following its time in Sydney, the musical is scheduled to travel nationally, with shows confirmed in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Melbourne.
Produced in Australia by Paul Dainty AO/TEG DAINTY in a collaboration with Stage Entertainment, Tali Pelman, and the legendary Tina Turner prior to her passing, the musical sets to tell an unparalleled comeback story. It pays homage to Tina Turner, who valiantly broke through societal constraints related to age, gender, and race to reign as the global Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll. The production stands as a symbol of sheer resilience and a testament to triumphing over challenges.
Fans of musicals and Turner’s work in general can look forward to a playlist of 23 hit songs, including Simply The Best, What’s Love Got To Do With It, and Proud Mary.
