Kirby Lunn Tours Queensland This Month with “Hit Me Britney One More Time”

With renewed interest in Britney Spears given the latest instalments in the #FreeBritney saga, it is not too surprising to see some tribute performances making their way back to stages across the world. For Queenslanders, there is Kirby Lunn, the Queenslander who has returned to Australia to deliver what she hopes will be “a high-octane tribute to the indisputable Princess of Pop” in Hit Me Britney One More Time. Throughout November 2021, the production will be headed to a venue in Brisbane, Bundaberg and then finally the Gold Coast.

The tour will start on the Grand Ballroom stage at Eatons Hill Hotel this Saturday (6 November 2021), followed by a performance at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre in Bundaberg on Friday 12 November 2021 – concluding at The Star Gold Coast on Friday 17 December 2021. Information on how to book tickets, if interested, can be found via the official Hit Me Britney One More Time website.

Kirby Lunn originally hailed from Queensland, but has spent many years in New York performing on Broadway. Some musicals she has worked on include the North American casts of Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde and Hairspray. She made her professional debut in Australia at the age of 18 in the musical EuroBeat – Almost Eurovision and then soon after went on to be cast in the original Australian productions of Hairspray and Rolling Thunder Vietnam.
