The Tap Pack to Bring Much Needed Tap Dancing Joy to Queenslanders in June/July 1

While we may not have as many options as say, those living near New York’s Broadway or London’s West End; Australians have more than a few options when it comes to choosing a night out at a musical, comedy, ballet or theatrical performance. What we don’t have nearly enough of is enough shows dedicated to the wonderful art form of tap dance. Following performances in London, Sydney and the United States; The Tap Pack are headed to 16 venues in Queensland across June and July for a total of 19 performances.

The Tap Packstars a number of Australian dancers and singers in its mix. This includes Jesse Rasmussen (Hot Shoe Shuffle, Grease, Candy Man), Jordan Pollard (Westside StoryAnything GoesSingin’ in the Rain), Thomas J Egan (Singin’ in the Rain, Fame The Musical, The Great Gatsby) and Tom Struik (West Side Story, Boys in the Band, Kylie Minogue). This group set out to conjure up a modern twist to the crooners and artists from the 50s through to the noughties, offering high-energy and comedy to a mix of tap dancing. Music featured in the show will involve works from Sinatra, Dean Marty, Sammy David Jr, Sheeran, Buble and Beyonce to name just a few.

So the question is… where will they be performing? For your convenience, the tour venues and booking details can all be found below (I would recommend Ctrl + F searching your town to see if there is a venue in your area). Ticketing information for each location may differ slightly, so please consult your chosen venue’s website for pricing information – keeping in mind that better seats/reserves may indicate better stage views.
