Just a quick note to anyone who has signed up for the Brisbane Matilda the Musical ticket waitlist – check your inbox now. Pre-sale tickets for this stage musical went on sale from noon today, and covers sessions running from Friday December 2nd 2016 until Sunday December 18th 2016. The pre-sale period will conclude at 11.00PM on Wednesday May 18th.

Did you miss out on subscribing to the waitlist and still wish to nab yourself tickets to the show? General ticket sales are set to begin on Thursday 19 May 2016, although it is unknown whether earlier or later sessions will be opened up at this time. The show is expected to run until January 2016 however, so expect more times to open up at a later date.

Matilda the Musical will be held in the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) Lyric Theatre. Tickets range from $55 – $150 each (Not including a $6.95 transaction fee per order), with seat prices dependent on session time and seating preference. At the moment there are eight sessions listed per week, including three matinees (Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday) and five evening sessions (Wedneday-Sunday).

Update: It seems like there will be other ways to access the pre-sale aside from the means mentioned above, including a QPAC Newsletter which just landed in my inbox. Keep an eye out if you want to potentially nab yourself some great seats.
