Aladdin Stage Musical Headed to Australia in 2016, Starting with Sydney Capitol Theatre

-

Kicking off a tour which will hopefully visit just as many locations across the country as The Lion King’s ongoing Australian tour, it has been announced that Aladdin the Musical will be headed to Australia starting in the latter half of next year.

With only one leg currently announced, Aladdin the Musical will begin at the Sydney Capitol Theatre in August 2016. This is the venue which is set to hold its final show of Les Misérables
tomorrow afternoon, and has previously played host to both The Lion King and Mary Poppins.

As many of you would already know, this stage musical is an adaptation of the hit 1992 Disney film ‘Aladdin’, which starred the late Robin Williams as the Genie. Tied with Toy Story, it was one of my favourite films growing up, and I am eagerly looking forward to checking the Australian production out for myself.

Those interested in adding themselves to the ticket waitlist for Aladdin the Musical should head HERE.
