The recent Australian tour of The Lion King is not set to conclude with its ongoing Melbourne leg at the Regent Theatre. It has instead been confirmed that the acclaimed musical will be headed to Perth for the very first time, with a limited season set to kick off at the Crown Theatre Perth from November 2015.
Tickets for the Perth leg of The Lion King will go on sale sometime in June 2015, and fans are encouraged to sign up for notifications via the stage musical’s official website. If the milestones and successes of The Lion King at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre are anything to go by, there is a possibility that every performance will be packed – with many booked out well in advance.
I had the pleasure of reviewing The Lion King during its Queensland tour, with it receiving a full ★★★★★’s from me.
