Book of Mormon Headed to Australia in Early 2017

-

Although its tour date may leave some fans groaning, it has been confirmed today that The Book of Mormon will be headed to Australia starting Early 2017. While it is likely that performances in other states will follow later in the year, the Tony Award winning musical will start its tour at the Princess Theatre in Melbourne.

The Book of Mormon began its Broadway tour in 2011, featuring music, book and lyrics by Trey Parker, Matt Stone (Both of South Park acclaim) and Robert Lopez (Avenue Q, Frozen). As one may expect from its title and those involved, this is a religious satire musical which details the story of two Mormon missionaries (Elder Kevin Price and Elder Arnold Cunningham), who are sent to Uganda.

Details on this musical are very limited that the current time, but do expect to hear more with regards to casting, further tour legs and more in the near future.
