After oversleeping through New Years, becoming shrivelled up after a long session in the hot springs and tracking down an aesthetician and stylist to make them look dapper for the journey, the two Lalafell begin making their ascent up Kugane Tower. After many long hours of climbing, Minerva was completely exhausted while Jack looked forward with a glint of achievement in his eyes.
Kugane Tower is arguably one of the hardest jumping puzzles included in Final Fantasy XIV to date, with even the slightest mistake potentially losing you a lot if not all your progress. Regardless of what the narrative above states, this Lalafell let their eternal bond partner do the climb by himself as he is much better at them. Then after a good 15 minutes, she used the power of their love to teleport up to him and claim an (arguably undeserved) accomplishment.
The outfit that both Minerva and Jack wear in both photos is known as the Glacial Coat, (surprisingly) a leatherworking crafted outfit which is absolutely adorable once dyed. Seeing these photos really makes me want to incorporate it into my active glamour rotation. But still, it is nice for us to have our own special outfits used only when we are together.
