Particularly in the last year or so, the prevalence of animal hoods and kigurumi seems to have shot up – and even in general shopping centres, universities etc is is not unheard of for people to be wearing them in public, either for special events or just general attire.
SpiritHoods has recently sent around a newsletter promoting their gift cards for the upcoming Christmas Season, which are electronic and allow a friend, family member or whomever the opportunity to purchase one of their animal hoods from their online store. 10% of the net profits of these gift cards will go towards supporting the conservation of endangered animal species.
This is not the only charity the company has supported in the past, last month offering the support of The Ronan Thompson Foundation to help support the fight against childhood cancers, offering 100% of profits from the sale of their Spicy Monkey hoods going to the organization.
