BAFTA has released the final list of special guests scheduled to appear at the upcoming BAFTA Games in Concert. The event is set to take place in London on 31 January 2026, featuring a musical showcase of video game history followed by a ticketed meet and greet session.
The concert itself is designed to recognize two decades of music from the BAFTA Games Awards. The performance will include suites arranged specifically for this event, covering titles from the 20 year history of the awards. The BBC Concert Orchestra and London Voices will perform these arrangements under the direction of composer Austin Wintory. Additionally, the band Sea Power is scheduled to join the orchestra for a special feature from the game Disco Elysium.
Following the main performance, a post show VIP Meet & Greet will allow attendees to interact with a selection of composers and vocalists. The organisers have confirmed that the following talent will be present:
- Austin Wintory (Journey)
- Jesper Kyd (Assassin’s Creed & Hitman: Contracts)
- Borislav Slavov (Baldur’s Gate 3)
- Kris Maddigan (Cuphead)
- Lyndon Holland (Virginia)
- Inon Zur (Fallout 4)
- Sea Power (Disco Elysium)
- Mariya Anastasova (Baldur’s Gate 3 vocalist)
- Andrew Wincott (Baldur’s Gate 3 vocalist)
Access to this session is available as an optional add on for ticket holders. Priced at £75 per person, the VIP experience includes the signing opportunity with the composers, as well as drinks and canapés after the concert concludes. Standard tickets for the concert start from £30.00, with prices increasing based on seating location.
Conductor and composer Austin Wintory highlighted the value of these in person events for artists who usually work in isolation.
Most composers tend to toil away anonymously, with little chance to connect directly to the players for whom it’s all being made. The BAFTA Meet & Greet is a lovely opportunity for us to step out of our studios and, in tandem with the joys of the concert hall (itself a rarity!), have real conversations with the audience to whom all this work is dedicated!
The musical programme for the evening will synchronize live performance with gameplay visuals and imagery. The setlist includes soundtracks from a variety of BAFTA Games Awards winners and nominees, including:
- Helldivers 2 by Wilbert Roget, II
- Fallout 4 by Inon Zur
- Disco Elysium by Sea Power
- Ori and the Will of the Wisps by Gareth Coker
- Returnal by Bobby Krlic
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves by Greg Edmonson
- Far Cry 4 by Cliff Martinez
- Virginia by Lyndon Holland
- Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture by Jessica Curry
- Baldur’s Gate 3 by Borislav Slavov
- Hitman: Contracts by Jesper Kyd
- Tomb Raider: Legend by Troels Brun Folmann
- Assassin’s Creed by Jesper Kyd
- Cuphead by Kris Maddigan
- Journey by Austin Wintory
Tickets for both the concert and the VIP upgrade are currently available for purchase via the official event website.
