Whether they underestimated the demand for both titles or there has been a surge in demand they could not have expected, Udon Entertainment have confirmed that copies of Kill la Kill Volume 1 and Steins;Gate Volume 1 have sold out at the distributor level.
This means that at the moment, it could be trickier to purchase either title if you are after them. Because of this, Udon Entertainment recently confirmed that they will be shipping out reprints of both manga books from next month. Outside of “March 2016”, no specific date has been provided for these copies.
For those who want to jump ahead, Steins;Gate Volume 2 is now available for purchase with Volume 3 set to go on sale starting April. Kill la Kill Volume 2 on the other hand is set to be made available in March. Each volume is priced at $12.99 USD or local equivalent.
