Given its age and role as a literary classic, Lewis Carroll’s classic tale of Alice in Wonderland is never really difficult to find in a book store with so many different reprints.
While it won’t be the first time that the novel has been adapted in the manga format, for example my reviewed copy of The POP Wonderland Series – Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland from Dark Horse, Seven Seas Entertainment are hoping to provide their own novelised edition of the book.
Don’t let its original format fool you, in addition to the charming cover artwork there will also be over 100 black and white illustrations and colour pinups throughout the book. The artwork, reminiscent of light novel style, will be illustrated by Kriss Sison. An example of the artwork quality is available HERE.
This special edition will be available for purchase from the 19th August 2014.
