In a move that may leave some fans of Star Trek or television in general giddy with excitement, the team behind the Supanova: Pop Culture Expo have announced that George Takei will be a special guest at both their Melbourne and Gold Coast events this year.
George is renowned for the acclaimed television and film series Star Trek and has appeared in over 40 feature films. Notably he has hundreds of television guest-starring roles to his credit including his role as Kaito Nakamura in NBC-TV’s Heroes.

George Takei will take part in a free-of-charge general admission Q&A session on each weekend, and will also participate in paid signing and photo sessions on both Saturday and Sunday of the event in both cities. An autograph will set fans back $50 while a photograph is slightly more expensive at $60.
