While I grew up watching Pokemon and Digimon over Yu-Gi-Oh!, there are quite a few people I know that do hold some nostalgia over the successful media and TCG franchise. If you have nostalgia for the Yu-Gi-Oh! series unlike myself or are just interested in checking out some artwork from the franchise’s creator, Udon Entertainment may have an artbook for you.
The artbook publisher have announced that their western release of Duel Art: Kazuki Takahashi Yu-Gi-Oh Illustrations” is now available for purchase. This book features artwork from the series’ original creator Kazuki Takahashi, with art spanning its history. Such content on offer includes magazine covers, card artwork, rare illustrations and rough concepts. Readers will also have the chance to read an exclusive interview with Takahashi himself.
This book is 128 pages in length, and comes with the dimensions of 8.25″ x 11.75″. The book is priced at $39.99 USD and is a full-colour book. There is one discrepancy with Udon Entertainment’s official product listing however. While their website lists the book as being “Softcover”, promotional material (Eg. Media Releases) and its own title “Duel Art: Kazuki Takahashi Yu-Gi-Oh Illustrations HC” list it as being a hardcover book.
