Pony Canyon has released new promotional material for their anime series The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife, which is currently broadcasting in Japan. The company has unveiled the second key visual for the production as the series reaches the midpoint of its season. The newly released image features the main characters, Akira Tounome and Shizuka Yakou, depicted together sharing a single scarf.
Adapted from the original work by IWATOBINEKO, published by Futabasha Publishers Ltd., the narrative centres on a unique professional and romantic relationship. The story follows Akira Tounome, a detective who is also an “Invisible Man,” and Shizuka Yakou, a “Human Woman” working at his agency. The premise establishes that despite Akira’s ability to disappear physically, Shizuka, who is blind, is always able to sense his location, leading to a developing bond between the pair.
The anime adaptation is produced by Project No.9, with Mitsuho Seta serving as both Director and handling Series Composition. Character designs are provided by Kairi Unabar. The main voice cast includes Yohei Azakami as Akira Tounome and Yuka Nukui as Shizuka Yakou. They are supported by Riho Sugiyama providing the voice for Jarashi Luna and Masaya Fukunishi as Kikira Daichi.
