TV Tokyo Corporation has confirmed that Gintama – Mr. Ginpachi’s Zany Class, a new spin-off in the long-running Gintama franchise, will receive its world premiere at Anime Expo 2025. The screening will take place on 5 July 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:20 PM (PDT) in Panel Room 408AB of the Los Angeles Convention Center.
This special panel offers fans a first look at a full episode of the series, alongside a range of supplementary content designed to explore this latest addition to the Gintama universe.
In addition to the episode screening, the panel will include a pre-recorded message from the characters of Odd Jobs; Gintoki Sakata (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita), Shinpachi Shimura (voiced by Daisuke Sakaguchi), and Kagura (voiced by Rie Kugimiya). Attendees will also hear behind-the-scenes insights into the production of the spin-off, be among the first to view new franchise merchandise, and have the chance to win exclusive Gintama prizes through interactive games and quizzes.
The panel will take place at Anime Expo 2025 on Saturday 5 July 2025 from 3.30pm – 4.20pm [PDT] at Panel Room 408AB in the Los Angeles Convention Center.
