Sentai Acquire Rights to TV Anime, The Executioner and Her Way of Life

Snapping up some new anime series ahead of the next season, Sentai has confirmed they hold the rights to The Executioner and Her Way of Life (処刑少女の生きる道), the upcoming anime adaptation of Mato Sato and Nilitsu’s ongoing light novel work. This acquisition is for global rights, excluding Asia, with the series to be available via HIDIVE exclusively, before being released on home video formats at a later date.

The Executioner and Her Way of Life is set to commence airing on Japanese television next month. The show is produced by J.C. Staff, with direction by Yoshiki Kawasaki, series composition by Shogo Yasukawa, a musical score by Michiru and opening/ending themes by Mili and ChouChou respectively.

In terms of Japanese voice cast, the series stars Iori Saeki (Nekopara, ORESUKI Are you the only one who loves me?, Adachi and Shimamura) as Menou and Moe Kahara (How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom) as Akari Tokito. There is currently no word on whether Sentai will offer an English dub of the series, either during its streaming period or for its eventual home video release.

About The Executioner and Her Way of Life

When interdimensional travelers from an otherworldly land known as “Japan” appear, they often bring death and destruction. It’s up to Executioners like Menou to track and exterminate the Lost Ones before they wreak havoc. When Menou encounters a beguiling Lost One named Akari, it’s bloody business as usual… until Menou discovers Akari can cheat death, that is. Even so, Menou has a job to do, and she is committed to her executioner’s mission come hell or high water — provided her newly stirring feelings don’t get in the way.
