Sentai Acquire Non Non Biyori’s Third Anime Season

Given they have been responsible for licensing and publishing the show’s first two seasons and feature film, it should come as little surprise that North American anime publisher Sentai now holds the rights to Non Non Biyori Nonstop. This is the third season of the charming slice-of-life anime, following the cute adventures of Renge, Natsumi, Komari and Hotaru as they experience an idyllic life in the Japanese countryside. Fresh excitement brews as someone new moves into the house next door. The students of the tiny, tight-knit Asahigaoka branch school begin trying their hardest to make this newcomer feel welcome.

Non Non Biyori Nonstop stars Kotori Koiwai (Real Girl, Gatchaman Crowds) as Renge Miyauchi, Rie Murakawa (Pastel Memories, Tsuredure Children) as Hotaru Ichijou, Ayane Sakura (Kase-san and Morning Glories, BanG Dream! 2nd Season) as Natsumi Koshigaya and Kana Asumi (Kämpfer, Maid Sama!) as Komari Koshigaya.

In terms of the creative team, animation is handled by the studio SilverLink (Tanaka-kun is Always Listless, Chivalry of a Failed Knight) and is directed by longtime series director Shinya Kawatsura (Kokoro Connect, Non Non Biyori). Mai Otsuka (The Demon Girl Next Door, Urara Meirocho) provides the series’ character design while Reiko Yoshida (K-ON!, Girls und Panzer) is in charge of series composition.

Sentai has acquired the rights to Non Non Biyori Nonstop in the following territories: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Aland Islands, Portugal, Spain and Latin America.

With the season to begin airing next month, expect to see it become available of digital streaming platforms very soon. A home video release will follow some time in the future.
