Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl to Be Offered for 72 Hours on AnimeLab 1

Serving as a feature-length sequel to 2018 TV anime Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl continues the story of protagonist Sakuta Azusagawa by adapting the sixth and seventh volumes of Hajime Kamoshida’s original light novel.

First airing at Japanese cinemas in June 2019, the film has since received cinematic premieres in the United States, Canada and Australia. Outside of these though, no home video release has been offered to date.

Fast forward to this month, and the wider anime community in Australia are being given a 72-hour window to enjoy the film in its entirety. Madman Entertainment has confirmed that Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl will be available from 11 am AEST tomorrow (Friday 17 April 2020) until 11 am AEST Monday 20 April 2020 via their AnimeLab video-on-demand streaming service.

North American anime fans can also stream the film through FUNimation Entertainment’s streaming service from 17/4 until 20/4.

AnimeLab is an online anime streaming service managed by Madman Entertainment. It’s accessible only to those residing in Australia and New Zealand and offers a basic service free with video quality, dub and availability timeframe limitations. For those looking for access to no simulcast delays, no ads, full back-catalogue access and high definition video can take advantage of a premium subscription membership for $7.95AUD/month or $79.50AUD/year.
