Studio TRIGGER’s Promare Begins Screening in Australian Cinemas from Today

As they have been doing a lot more of in recent years, Australian anime publisher Madman Entertainment have continued bringing anime feature films to cinema screens across Australia and New Zealand, ahead of eventual home video releases. Screening in cinemas across Australia from today, anime fans have the chance to enjoy Promare . The screenings will only be at select venues – with typically between one and eight locations per state. Those in New Zealand will be able to experience their premiere at Armageddon Expo Auckland this weekend, followed by their own screenings at select cinemas across the country.

Promare is the first animated feature film from TRIGGER, who in the past has animated Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia and co-produced Darling in the Franxx with Cloverworks. The film is an original work featuring direction by Hiroyuki Imaishi and writing by Kazuki Nakashima – reuniting after working together on both Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill.
