Sentai Filmworks Acquire Rights to My Love Story

-

North American anime publisher Sentai Filmworks have today announced that they now hold the rights to My Love Story, also known as Ore Monogatari!! (俺物語!!) in Japan. This anime adaptation of Kazune Kawahara’s and Aruko’s manga series is currently airing, with new episodes available weekly. This series has been described as a “romantic comedy” and follows the tale of Takeo Gouda, a giant guy with a giant heart who’s (love) life is about to take an incredible turn.

Morio Asaka will be directing the series, with Natsuko Takahashi providing series composition. S.E.N.S., having previously been involved in series Kimi ni Todoke and xxxHOLIC, will be handling music. Character designs will be handled by Kunihiko Hamada, and animation production will be done by MADHOUSE, broadcasted by Nippon TV in Japan.

My Love Story will be available via select digital outlets, with a home video release to follow at an unspecified date.
