Durng their Katsucon panel earlier this weekend, the team at North American anime publisher Aniplex of America announced that they now hold the rights to upcoming anime feature film The Anthem of the Heart – Beautiful Word Beautiful World –. Also known as Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda. (心が叫びたがってるんだ。) in Japan, this is a yet-to-air film produced by the same team behind the anohana noitaminA TV series and subsequent feature film.
To be a bit more specific, the film features direction by Tatsuyuki Nagai (Honey and Clover II, Toradora!), with writing by Mari Okada (Toradora!, Blast of Tempest), character designs by Masayoshi Tanaka and animation by A-1 Pictures who have worked on many other anime franchises Aniplex USA holds the rights to including Sword Art Online and Your Lie in April.
Although details are limited and no theatrical or home video release date has even been hinted at, Aniplex of America have shared the film’s teaser trailer below:
