Siren Visual Announce Delays for Nodame Cantabile and Memories

-

In a post made earlier today through their official Facebook page, Australian anime publisher Siren Visual claimed that their upcoming blu-ray release of the 1995 animated film ‘Memories’ and distribution of ‘Nodame Cantabile’ have had to be pushed back. While neither title had a finalized release date in the first place, both were listed for an early 2015 release in Australia and New Zealand. It seems like we may now be looking at mid-2015 or beyond.

Siren Visual have claimed that this delay is a result of the issues faced by Sony in late-2014, which has resulted in communication delays between the parties and slowed down the acquisition of necessary materials to produce a finalized release. Work has now resumed on getting both titles out to Australian anime fans.

Siren Visual will be issuing new finalized release dates once they have “received the necessary materials to proceed with both releases”. Let’s hope that the wait is not too long, as both titles look quite interesting.
