It seems like April 2015 will be another month of Studio Ghibli releases. In addition to their planned DVD/Blu-ray release of The Tale of Princess Kaguya and Blu-ray release of Spirited Away, Madman Entertainment have also announced that they will be publishing The Collected Works of Hayao Miyazaki in Australia and New Zealand. Like Spirited Away, this collection was originally slated for release in December 2014 however was indefinately delayed so they could deliver the best product possible.

As the title implies, this collection features all the major feature films made by legendary anime director Hayao Miyazaki – one of the founding members of Studio Ghibli. The full list of films in this collection include:

  • Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro (1979)
  • Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984)
  • Laputa: Castle in the Sky (1986)
  • My Neighbor Totoro (1988)
  • Kiki’s Delivery Service (1989)
  • Porco Rosso (1992)
  • Princess Mononoke (1997)
  • Spirited Away (2001)
  • Howl’s Moving Castle (2004)
  • Ponyo (2008)
  • The Wind Rises (2013)

This collection will come in a limited edition collector’s box, and will include all special edition on-disc extras produced for all eleven films. Separate collections will be available for DVD and Blu-ray formats.
