It has now been around 15 years since the original Digimon Adventure TV anime was released in both Japan and shortly after around the world. To mark this milestone, a 15th Anniversary anime project is in the works until the newly announced title Digimon Adventure Tri.
A recent update to the series’ website has unveiled its first key artwork (Available above) and information on some of the staff involved. It has been confirmed that Keitaro Motonaga will be director with Yuuko Kakihara serving as script supervisor and Atsuya Uki working on character designs. On the note of character designs… they are certainly a lot different from what was on offer 15 years ago.
This project will serve as a sequel to both Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 2.
