The Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls

Anime Consortium Japan is a recently established company in Japan that will be officially streaming it first set of titles during the current anime season in Japan. They have recently confirmed their first two titles: Tsukimonogatari and The Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls, both of which will begin being streamed/simulcast in the coming weeks.

Tsukimonogatari is set to premiere on Japanese TV starting the night of December 31st 2014. After airing, it will be possible for those residing in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa to watch the episodes via the DAISUKI streaming service. All four episodes will be available at once with a Japanese dub and English subtitles, for both registered and unregistered users.

The time is February, after the ordeal with Nadeko Sengoku was resolved thanks to Deishu Kaiki working behind the scenes. As Koyomi Araragi studied for that last push before the college entrance exams, a change to his physical body that “could not be overlooked” was starting to happen. The difference that could be described as retribution for all his past action is…!?

The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls is set to begin airing in Japan starting early-January 2015. Streaming of the series will be available everywhere except Japan and China through DAISUKI beginning January 9th 2015, presumably with each episode being simulcast weekly from then.

Together with the new season, Anime Consortium Japan will also begin streaming the first The Idolm@ster anime series starting January 9th 2015, and will be viewable everywhere except Japan, China, Korea and Taiwan.

There are many idols with long-established talent agency 346 Production..
And now the company is starting a new program, the Cinderella Project!
Girls leading normal lives…
They are chosen to be aspiring idols and see another world for the first time in this Cinderella story. Can they all climb the stairs that lead to the palace?

The magic begins now…

At this point in time, there is no indication that these online streams will eventually result in a home video release. However it is great to see that The Idolm@ster is finally getting a chance to shine outside of Japan.
