Australian anime publisher Siren Visual announced a few months back that they would be publishing the incredibly adorable anime series, Chi’s Sweet Home. While anime fans will have to wait until October 2014 to get their hands on the first season, Siren Visual have opened pre-orders for the DVD collection via their official website, at a slightly lower price of $34.95 AUD.

The Otaku’s Study will almost certainly have a review of this title upon launch.

An adorable gray and white kitten with black stripes wanders away from her mother and siblings one day while enjoying a walk outside with her family…

Lost in her surroundings, the kitten struggles to find her family and instead is found by a young boy, Youhei, and his mother. Pets are forbidden in their housing complex and finding this little kitten a new home proves difficult and she becomes a secret member of the family!

While being housebroken, the kitten mistakenly answers to “Chi” and this becomes her name. Chi then has a splendid time living with her new family, learning about different things and meeting new people and animals.

This is the cutest anime series you will EVER see!

The following is what the Siren Visual team had to say on Chi’s Sweet Home via their official Facebook page:

October will see the cutest anime series EVER land on Australian shores with the first English-friendly DVD release of Chi’s Sweet Home…

It was a huge hit at AVCON this year with a packed theatre and loads of new fans making a beeline for the Siren booth to get a piece o’ Chi, only to have their hearts broken upon hearing it would be months before they can call her their own. Well, you can dry those eyes – come October, she’s yours!

If you are a cat-lover, feline-freak, neko-nerd or just looking for a series that will have you gagging with sweetness, this is your fix right here!
