There are only a couple of months until Nippon Ichi Software America’s September 2nd, 2014 release date for the first season of Love Live! School Idol Project. With the release date looming closer, the publisher have announced that it will only be available through two non-SE sets, the usual Premium Edition priced at $51.99 which includes the 13-episode season, artbook, slipcase and Weiß Schwarz card AND a newly announced ‘Concert Set‘ which also includes a special original soundtrack at $84.98.
While a soundtrack CD in any video game or anime release is usually bland, often a compilation of 5-10 tracks that is only a fraction of the main soundtrack (Which is usually not available in the western market), the Concert Set will feature 2-CD’s with 68 songs, including insert songs, the opening / ending themes and episode 1’s song “Private Wars”.
The traditional school Otonokizaka High is situated between the three towns of Akihabara, Kanda, and Jimbocho. This school is also in imminent danger of closing. Because of this crisis, the second year student Honoka Kosaka takes center stage with eight others to do something about it! “To protect the school we love so much, we have to do all we can… We have to become school idols! By becoming idols and advertising how great our school is to the world, more students will want to apply!”
