In addition to announcing their Limited Edition DVD set of Oreimo 2, Aniplex of America have also announced details on the upcoming Blu-ray set for Kabukimonogatari. It has been confirmed that this second arc of the Monogatari Series Second Season will be released as a limited edition blu-ray set from August 26th, 2014.
This edition, priced at a whopping $64.98 USD will feature all four “Mayoi Jiangshi” episodes across two blu-ray discs with the original Japanese dub and English subtitles. On-disc content will include textless opening / ending sequences, an “Omnibus 2” video and more. In addition, a deluxe booklet and set of pinup postcards will be included, all contained within an exclusive soft box feature artwork by character designer Akio Watanabe.
