It seems like Aniplex of America are playing all their cards when it comes to announcing special guests being invited to attend Anime Expo 2014. Last week the North American anime publisher announced that they would be inviting a number of Kill la Kill staff and voice cast to the event, where there would be a number of signings, panels and other opportunities surrounding the series. This evening they have confirmed their Sword Art Online plans for the convention.
Aniplex of America will be playing host to Reki Kawahara (Author) and abec (Original Illustration / Character Design Concept) members of the SAO team. Both guests will be participating in panels, autograph sessions and other special events throughout the weekend.
More notably however, following the worldwide announcement in France by Producer Shinichiro Kashiwada, Aniplex of America has also confirmed that the US Premiere Screening Event of Sword Art Online II will be held at Anime Expo. This event is scheduled for Friday July and will include a variety of Sword Art Online contents. The US event will coincide with the other premiere events taking place in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Japan.
