Those of us who reside outside of Japan will most likely have to wait several more months until we get to enjoy Persona 3 The Movie #2: Midsummer Knight’s Dream as part of Aniplex of America’s pricey import editions. Japanese anime and video game fans on the other hand only have a short wait to go, with the film set to hit cinemas a little more than a month from now, on June 7th, 2014 to be exact.
While we wait, you can check out the new trailer for the film below which highlights some of the events from the second section of the original PlayStation 2 game that have been translated to the anime format – including their trip to the beach where S.E.E.S. first met Aigis, a dark hour jaunt to the love hotel and Strega making their appearance to the group.
Aniplex of America are currently holding pre-orders for their North America / European / Australian / New Zealand import edition of the first film, Spring of Birth.
