Last Friday, Australian anime publisher Hanabee Entertainment announced three new acquisition announcements for release from the 7th May 2014 – From the New World, Campione and Familiar of Zero. While being very brief on the details for each of their announcements, with the public announcement made earlier today they have provided more specifics on each.

From The New World
DVD / Blu-ray | $59.99 AUD / $64.99 AUD

This first volume of two will feature the first thirteen episodes and will feature dual-language audio.

It’s a tainted history for perfection.

A thousand years in to our future, Saki and her friends Satoru, Maria, Mamoru and Shun’s world is falling apart at the seams. Lies and secrets run through this small and idyllic community filled with lush surroundings and quaint individuals.

The heart of the matter may lie in their psychic abilities called “Juryoku” which, allows individuals to materialize their desires and has rendered technology obsolete.

But is this childhood group of friends prepared to discover the dark truth behind their world and its consequences? Or will they let everything they once knew fall to pieces at their feet?

Campione!
DVD / Blu-ray | $59.99 AUD / $64.99 AUD

Also known as Matsuro Wanu Kamigami to Kami Koroshi no Maou. This single-volume complete collection will feature all thirteen episodes with hybrid audio options available (English / Japanese)

It’s a long fall from grace once you’ve reached the top.

Kusanagi Godo is to become the stuff of legends, when he slays the God of War in fierce combat. Now known as Campione, a God Slayer, Kusanagi is tasked with the job of defending his title and turf against other fierce individuals after the prestigious name.

But despite the constant mortal peril, there are some benefits to the job and it comes in the form of some devoted female followers and really how is a guy supposed to resist?

The Familiar of Zero
DVD / Blu-ray | $59.99 AUD / $64.99 AUD

Also known as Zero no Tsukaima. To be released as a single-volume collection featuring dual-language audio. No word on the release of subsequent seasons yet.

There’s a fine line between familiar and slave.

Louise Francoise Le Blanc de La Valliere, nicknamed “Louise the Zero” because of her terrible magical skills, has just reaffirmed her title. Instead of summoning a fierce mythical creature to be her familiar, during her second year exam, she gets a human instead!

This human familiar is named Hiraga Saito, a normal teenage boy from Tokyo, who was plucked from his home and inducted into magical servitude. Now he’s stuck with a master he has no idea how to serve and with magic neither of them know how to use. But for better or for worse they’re forever bonded and the quicker they learn how to work together the higher the potential of them graduating from this academy.

In addition to further clarification of these three new acquisitions, Hanabee Entertainment have confirmed that the second volume of Little Busters! (Wrapping up the first season) will be available at the same time on DVD and Blu-ray, while a Blu-ray release of Accel World is also planned for the same time.
